What's The Deal With Facial Oils?

We see this cosmetic product on the shelves at Sephora and ULTA. We see it while scrolling on IG & Facebook, and we even see it at Target, CVS, and Grocery Stores. Facial Oils or Face Oils are seen everywhere these days. Fun Fact - Facial Oils date all the way back to 4500 BC, the ancient Egyptians used oils in their cosmetics. Yes, even back then, they knew how to achieve a radiant glow. So, what's the deal with Facial Oils and why you should add it to your skincare routine? Is it really worth all the hype? Abso-friggin-lutely! Now, here's the inside scoop....

Facial Oil Defined -

Facial Oils are treatment oils that provide deluxe moisture for those with skin concerns. In particular, those with dehydrated, uneven, mature, and sun-damaged skin can benefit from the deluxe hydration the oils provide to restore skin's natural radiance and vitality.

Directions Please -

Having a clean face is a must when applying Facial Oil. Start by cleansing the face with a Cleanser. Next, layer on the Moisturizer. Wait until product is absorbed into skin before applying four to six drops of Facial Oil. FYI: When applying Facial Oils, patting is more effective than rubbing onto the face. Oil spreads easy and fast and a few drops are all that is needed.

The Benefits -

1. Promotes a glow that's not greasy

If you haven't had enough sleep or your body is dehydrated, facial oils can help restore moisture. Facial Oils also aid in reducing wrinkles because they are packed with natural vitamins & antioxidants that can pass through the skin more quickly, preventing water loss while keeping skin plump.

2. Locks in moisture

H-Y-D-R-A-T-I-O-N! When you apply Facial Oil after using a moisturizer, it seals in all of the hydrating ingredients.

3. Mixes well with other products

Facial Oils can be mixed with moisturizers, blended with foundations for a smoother application, and combined with facial masks. However, be careful not to mix Facial Oil into a moisturizer with SPF—doing so dilutes the sunscreen's effectiveness.

4. Helps build skin's natural barrier and protect against toxins

Facial Oils can penetrate deep into the skin, trapping water and other nourishments in, while keeping toxins and free radicals out.

Now that you have the inside scoop on Facial Oils, it's only right we plug ourselves in lol! Remove Cosmetics has not one but two AMAZING Facial Oils that will make you say "YASSSSSS" and are worth every penny!
